Introduction

HaMACS continues to uphold the highest standards of halal compliance through active field supervision and certification exercises. As part of our commitment to ensuring quality and trust, our team recently conducted a comprehensive halal certification supervision at MOFAI Foods’ factory in Lekki/Langbasa, Lagos.

Certification Supervision Exercise

On Saturday, 4 April 2026, the HaMACS team of auditors, led by Dr. Waheed Adeyemi Situ, carried out a detailed supervision exercise at MOFAI Foods. The team included Prof. Ismail Akin Musa (Shari’ah Expert), Prof. Luqman Adams Ayodeji (Laboratory Expert), and Kifayah Omolayo Situ (Halal Trainee Auditor).

Working closely with the management of MOFAI Foods, the team evaluated production processes, raw materials, and operational standards to ensure full compliance with halal requirements.

Ensuring Compliance and Quality

The exercise focused on verifying that all stages of food production—from sourcing to processing and packaging—met strict Shari’ah and industry standards. This hands-on supervision helps maintain transparency, prevent contamination, and ensure that certified products remain trustworthy for consumers.

Collaboration with Industry Partners

HaMACS values strong collaboration with food producers and industry stakeholders. By working directly with the management of MOFAI Foods, the certification process becomes more effective, ensuring that all necessary standards are understood and properly implemented.

Conclusion

Field supervision exercises like this demonstrate HaMACS’ dedication to promoting halal integrity and supporting businesses in achieving certification. Through expert auditing and continuous monitoring, we help build confidence in halal products across the market.
